Description

The Pico P100 is a genuinely pocketable projector. It weighs less than a tin of beans, runs off a single cable and sits on a stand that rotates a full 180 degrees, so you can throw an image onto a ceiling as easily as onto a wall.

Its panel is native 1280 x 720. It will accept a 4K signal on its input and scale it down to that panel, which is why some sellers of this hardware advertise it as a 4K projector. We will not: the picture you see is 720p, and at normal viewing distances on a 100-inch image you will notice the difference against a 1080p machine.

Brightness is 200 ANSI lumens. That figure is the honest one, measured on the standard nine-point grid, and it sets a firm limit: this projector needs a properly dark room. With a lamp on or curtains open the picture washes out. If you want something for daytime use, look at the P500 or a television instead.

Focus is manual, on a ring around the lens. Expect to nudge it once after ten or fifteen minutes as the unit warms up. Vertical keystone correction is automatic; horizontal is manual, so the projector wants to sit roughly square to your wall.
