Description
The Vista 32 does one job properly: it is a straightforward television for a kitchen, a spare bedroom or a workshop. Freeview HD is built in, so it works with an aerial and nothing else.
Two things it is not, stated plainly. It is not a smart TV — there is no Wi-Fi, no Netflix, no iPlayer. If you want those, plug a streaming stick into one of the three HDMI ports; they cost around thirty pounds and work better than the built-in apps on most budget sets anyway.
And it is not Full HD. The panel is 1366 x 768, which is the standard resolution at this size and price. At normal kitchen viewing distance you will not notice, but a games console or a Blu-ray player will be scaled down to fit it.
There is a SCART socket, which is increasingly rare and genuinely useful if you still have an older recorder or set-top box. The two 8 W speakers handle dialogue and news perfectly well; for films you will want a soundbar.
