Delivery and timescales

Everything ships from our own warehouse in Birmingham. The timescale below is the one we hold ourselves to — shown before you pay, never discovered afterwards.

How long it takes

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are packed the same day. Delivery then takes 3 to 5 working days from dispatch.

You will receive a tracking number by email as soon as the parcel is handed to the carrier. If it has not arrived within 48 hours of your order, something has gone wrong — please tell us.

If we are running late

We email you before you have to chase us, and we always offer the choice between waiting or being refunded straight away. You should never be held to a delay you did not agree to.

Where we deliver

We currently deliver to United Kingdom mainland.

We do not currently deliver to the following, because carrier surcharges on large items make it unworkable at our prices:

Channel Islands
Isle of Man
Scottish Highlands and Islands
Northern Ireland

We would rather tell you here than cancel your order later. If you are in one of these areas and still want to buy, call us — we will quote you honestly for a special delivery.

What it costs

Delivery is free on everything we sell, with no minimum order.

The full total, including delivery and any tax, is shown before you confirm payment. Nothing is added afterwards, and the carrier will never ask you for money on the doorstep.

Who delivers

We use Royal Mail Tracked 48 and DPD.

Given the value of these items, a signature is required on delivery. Please use an address where somebody can take the parcel in, or select a collection point where one is offered.

When it arrives

Check the outside of the box before the driver leaves. If there is crushing, a puncture or evidence the box has been reopened, write a specific note on the delivery record and photograph it. A vague "unchecked" signature carries no weight if you later need to claim.

Tell us about any damage within 48 hours with photographs and we will arrange a replacement. You will not be argued with.
